Zijie Dai receives Best Short Talk Prize at The Royal Society of Chemistry Early Career Researchers’ Meeting
UCL-Birkbeck MRC DTP iCASE PhD student Zijie Dai presented her PhD research at the RSC Early Career Researchers’ Meeting (Wilmslow, UK, June 2026), where she was also awarded the Best Short Talk Prize.
Her presentation focused on applying cyclic ion mobility mass spectrometry and electron-capture dissociation to characterise transient amylin oligomeric species, helping to reveal molecular features of early amyloid assembly linked to type 2 diabetes pathology.
