Zijie Dai presents PhD research at the American Society for Mass Spectrometry Conference

UCL-Birkbeck MRC DTP iCASE PhD student Zijie Dai presented her PhD research at the 74th American Society for Mass Spectrometry Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics, held in San Diego, USA, in June 2026. 

ASMS is one of the most influential and authoritative international conferences in mass spectrometry, bringing together leading researchers, instrument developers, and industry experts from across the field. 

Zijie presented her work on using native tandem ion mobility mass spectrometry to investigate how different conformations of human amylin oligomers may contribute to early aggregation events associated with type 2 diabetes.
