PhD Workshop for Under-Represented Groups in Science
Join Our Workshop For Under-Represented Groups In Science
At UCL we are dedicated to tackle structural inequalities building a diverse base of researchers who can use the most advanced techniques to solve pressing problems in their field. That’s why we’re running a workshop aimed at prospective students from the UK who identify as Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME) or are from a socio-economic disadvantaged background and want to study for a PhD in any area of the brain, life and biomedical sciences.
The workshop brings together academics experienced in PhD recruitment from across UCL to give participants tools to put together an excellent application to the PhD programme of their choice, and to prepare them for interview to get the funding they need to take their research forward.
The workshop is led by Professors Paola Pedarzani (Co-Director, UCL-Birkbeck MRC DTP www.uclbbkmrcdtp.ac.uk/) and Gabriella Vigliocco (Director of the interdisciplinary Leverhulme Doctoral Training Programme for the Ecological Study of the Brain, www.ecologicalbrain.org).
Apply today to join our application workshop and take the next step in your research career.
The workshop is open to eligible candidates whether or not they wish to apply to UCL specifically.
