Heather Cross

I have just started my PhD journey with UCL/Birkbeck and will start my first rotation soon. Before joining the programme, I completed my MSc in Immunology from King's College London and before that, completed my BSc in Biological sciences with professional studies from Queen's University Belfast. My main research areas of interest are immunology with a focus on autoimmunity and immunometabolism. I am really looking forward to building on the techniques I gained during my MSc and from working as a research assistant as well as having new opportunities to learn more techniques to take on into my PhD.
